Dan Mondloch is from Central Minnesota where he graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Painting and Drawing in 2007. He operates a studio in his home, and in his professional life, he balances studio art with commercial work, murals and teaching. In 2011, he was invited to work on a 28′x44′ mural installation at the St. Cloud River’s Edge Convention Center (MN). In 2012, he received the Best of Show award in the Essential Art Exhibition with Visual Arts Minnesota. He has also received Best Water Media with ERAAA in 2012. He had a well received solo exhibit at St. John’s University, in Spring 2012. Recently, he became a rosted teaching artist for the Central Minnesota Arts Board, and taught his first school residency in May of 2012. Dan exhibits locally and nationally, and his work is in public and private collections throughout the United States and Canada.
